View access types

Access types are the permissions that are associated with an access control entry (ACE).

Prerequisites

See Roles and associated permissions to determine the user roles that can perform this task.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Click Settings icon in the title bar to open the Settings dialog, and then click System Access Control > Access Groups.
  3. To enable active management, enter your Access Control PIN: View access controls
  4. Select the entry and click Details icon.
  5. In the Properties panel, click the number next to Access Types.
  6. Use the Access Types list view to display and manage the access types that are associated with an access control entry.
    The following property displays:
    Access Type Permissions that are assigned to the group or pool. For more information about valid values, see Access types .
